Variety: Touch of gold (30-40 cm) and heavenly blue (25-30 cm)

 

Form of cultivation: herbaceous deciduous shrub, grows up to 150 cm high and 100 cm wide.

Stem: upright or slightly curved, dark purple in color and covered with fine hairs.

Leaf: opposite, oval or lanceolate, 5-13 cm long, symmetrical, sparsely toothed and often wavy, arranged on a shorter stem, gray-green and covered with tiny hairs on the face so that they feel smooth like silk, and when between the fingers grated give an aromatic scent.

Flower: small and blue, collected in dense inflorescences at the tips of the stems and lateral shoots that grow in the armpits of the upper leaves. The chalice is bell-shaped and jagged.

Flowering period: from the end of August to October when they are visited en masse by bees, bumblebees and butterflies.
